Q: how do I care for Bobux shoes and clothing?
A: soft soles: The easiest way to remove dirt from the leather surface is with a soft cloth dipped in a gentle soap and water solution. Do not soak soft soles in water as the suede hardens with drying.
pram, pre-walk and i-walk: Caring for your pram, pre-walk and i-walk shoes is child’s play - simply wipe with soap, water and a sponge. For tougher dirt you can use toothpaste and a toothbrush! Great for getting into small places and the paste adds gentle abrasion.
merino: There really are no short cuts when caring for merino. It is best to use approved wool detergent and wash on the wool setting in the machine or even better, by hand.
For stain removal, we recommend a mild soap like "Sards Wonder Soap" or "Sunlight soap" or a spray-on cleaner like "frend". Do not soak in any pre-wash brightener as they contain bleach and will eat the wool. Dry merino garments flat on a clean towel, out of direct sunlight. Direct sunlight will yellow the wool.

A: Our shoes can be worn with or without socks. You might want to add a little extra warmth in winter, but be mindful to add a little extra room when buying new shoes to ensure there is good space for growth and movement. Bobux sheepskin innersoles are perfect for very cold climates.

A: Bobux i-walk shoes (for toddlers mastering the art of walking) are specifically designed for outdoor fun and adventures. Our pre-walk shoes can also be worn outside, but are best for light outdoor use only as they are designed for those moments when your little one is getting ready to take their first steps, usually indoors. Soft soles are designed to protect little feet indoors only.
Made of genuine leather and suede, rough outside surfaces can wear Bobux shoes out prematurely. All Bobux baby shoes are not waterproof and should only be used in dry conditions when outdoors.
